MB almost cancelled the choir practice today because only I was there for that and I just cannot sing the melody along.. and we did not have piano keyboard and we only needed to sing two songs..haha. so he decided just not to have rehearsal..
My lovely friend Kelsey came in about ten minutes late. Both of us cannot bear 1:30 adoration due to our weak faith and “hyperactivity”.. hahaha, so we went out since I needed to let her know which songs we would sing today. I was not very familiar with Ave Regina Caelorum. Although MBK thought I would be fine when there were Organ. and I forgot where I put the music sheet..but I had i phone..
So I decided to make Kelsey to teach me again this hymn. (hahaha, glad that Kelsey always think that I am “teachable”…lol..) so , we went outside. It was snowing.. the pure snow flake just flying down from sky.. like the feathers of wings of angel.
We looked up to the sky, I felt that I was totally “melt” from inside. My hands do feel cold, but my heart was extremely warm. I just wanted to sing and sing and sing….and dance in the snow
Today was not a happy day for Catholic around world, because we together faced a huge uncertainty about future again. I want to cite one prayer from Novena to St. Therese
“Little Flower of Jesus, from the very first moment of your religious life you thought only of denying yourself in all things so as to follow Jesus more perfectly; help me to bear patiently the trials of my daily life. Teach me to make use of the trials, the sufferings, the humiliations, that come my way, to learn to know myself better and to love God more.”
When we are expecting nothing but suffering, we are quite surprised at the least joy; but then suffering itself becomes the greatest of joys when we seek it as a precious treasure. We will suffer, but we will dance in the snow. It is cold outside, but holy spirit has already ignite fire within our heart. Looking upon the sacrement on the alter.
Think about that “ Praestet fides supplementum Sensuum defectui.”
We love God not because We feel Good… Faith in God surpass all the things in the world. we have prayed Tantum ergo almost every week, but I just suddenly realize how philosophical it is. It is a really a beautiful prayer.
