Unbearable Silence

Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. 12 After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper.

The Silence is unbearable, is so heavy for heart. Only those who go through the great silence hear the whisper of God from the deep of silence.

4.17, I talked with my spiritual director about this movie yesterday.. He said , that the air there is too pure for us to breath, because we are entangled too much with secular desires.

Without clearing the illusions we hold for this world, how can we see the purity of greatest God in other world?
